Why This Bear Supports Florida's Amendment 4

Some people watching my You Tube video and joining my Facebook page are asking me why this bear is supporting Amendment 4, Florida's conservation amendment.

It's simple. Amendment 4 will help protect my home -- and helps Florida conserve its natural heritage.

Amendment 4 will provide the state with an opportunity to protect wildlife, water and recreation areas before they vanish. Take a look at a study done by 1000 Friends of Florida. The study shows what Florida will look like in 2060 as the state continues to grow from 18 million residents to 36 million residents.

In the face of this growth, we need the common-sense incentives for landowners that Amendment 4 will provide. It's a smart approach that protects wildlife, fish and birds and enhances water quantity and quality without spending new tax dollars.

Can you believe it? This bear is going to be on television. 

I'm a STAR!!!

You see, me and the animals in the forest are very concerned about our home disappearing to overdevelopment. So, we have pulled together to support Amendment 4, Florida's conservation amendment. 

Usually, us animals are pretty scared of humans. But these nice people from the Citizens for Conservation Land came out and shot video of us. 

I was nervous but it was real fun.
